“Hello, love —
My name is Grant–Elijah, or G.E., poetically in my alter-ego-feminine-divine as Dionys E. Drummonds, a.k.a. ya good sis, birthed FEMME and NEGRO with nothing less than love. Pronouns: he/they/sis.
I am an Austin-born, Afro-CaribbeanxQueer cultural architect rooted in rhythm, resistance, and rebirth. In professional spheres, I go by G.E. Loveless, a name that echoes my devotion to crafting bold, beautiful spaces where identity is not just seen, but celebrated.
Raised in a home where prayer and passion lived side by side ,y upbringing was both sanctuary and syllabus—a place where Southern grit met Caribbean grace, and where I learned that to create is
to remember who you are.
From an early age, I moved with conviction. At 16, walking the halls of Manor High, I felt the pulse of something greater: a calling to speak, to build, to be of service. I turned curiosity into chaos, and heartache into healing in which the digital world became my confidant and stage—and I used it not for performance, but for transformation.
Now, since 2021, as the PresidentxCEO of The Essence of G, I build bridges between storytelling and strategy, community and campaign, art and advocacy. My work—spanning over 8+ years across nonprofits, public health, and creative sectors—is
rooted in equity, expression, and embodiment.
Whether directing youth summits, shaping public engagement forums, or composing poetic digital media, my mission remains constant:
To curate ecosystems where misunderstood, multi-dimensional identities like mine aren’t just welcomed—they’re worshipped.
My journey is not about arrival, but alignment in each project, person, platform, partnership, and poem is an offering. So, hit me up, tell ya friends to pull up to an event or collab, & when we meet I will ask so make sure you ask ya’self:
What are my roots?”
— with nothing less than love, g.e.
